completed degrees in Development Studies and Political Science at the University of Vienna, and Spatial Planning at the Vienna University of Technology. Following several work placements in Austria and abroad – including in Dhaka (Bangladesh) and New York (USA) – she began her professional career in 2019 at UIV Urban Innovation Vienna, the city’s climate and innovation agency. There, as part of national and European projects, she focused in particular in transitioning and decarbonising heating, energy and mobility. In her final years at UIV, she led the EU-project ‘Decarb City Pipes 2050’, which provided relevant know-how for Vienna’s heatingtransformation strategy.
Since August 2023, she has been part of the ‘Phasing Out Gas’ programme management team within the City of Vienna’s Executive Group for Construction and Technology, which coordinates the city-wide phase-out of fossil gas for heating and cooling.
