Ivan Stanič

Mr. Stanič is the Head of the Urban Planning Department for the City of Ljubljana,leading municipal spatial development and urban strategies. An architect and planner by training, his expertise spans planning regulation, administrative-legal aspects of spatial development, and public participation. Before his current role, he worked extensively as a researcher and planning consultant. Reflecting his multidisciplinary background, Mr. Stanič is a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, New University, and the former Chief Editor of the scientific journal “Urbani izziv”. He brings a wealth of city governance and academic insight to the forum.
