Ljubljana Forum 2025: Full Programme and Speakers Announced
The 15th edition of Ljubljana Forum will take place on 2–3 October 2025 at Ljubljana Castle. This year marks a special milestone — fifteen years of shaping the future of cities through knowledge sharing, foresight, and collaboration.
The theme for this year is: Sports and Recreation as Infrastructure for Cities of Well-being, reflecting the growing importance of health, inclusion, and sustainable urban living.
The programme is filled with distinguished speakers, mayors, city leaders, academics, and industry experts who will together define the pathways to resilient, inclusive, and smart urban futures.
Highlights of the Programme:
Opening Speeches: By Blaž Golob, Zoran Janković, Miran Gajšek, and Kyriacos Kakouris.
- Keynote speech and presentation of Ilirija Sport Center by Peter Lorenz
Round Table of Mayors: Leaders from Ljubljana, Dubrovnik, Sarajevo, and Nova Gorica share their strategies for well-being cities.
Key Sessions:
Cities for the Future – City as Negotiator with insights from Aleksander Vujovič, Ibon Zugasti, Tijs Beek, Marta Bon, Rasha Abd El Mawgoud, and Mathias Behn Bjørnhof.
